2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt
One thing many do not know about the 2008 Bullitt is that it sports some fancy new PCM calibration code that I hope Ford will have in the 2010 Mustang. The Bullitt is able to use its knock sensors to advance the timing to the edge and keep a learned memory of these adjustments. This means that from tank to tank of gas you have the potential to always run spark advance that will make the most power for you.
Because of this I had to work especially hard to pull even better numbers out of this car in stock trim but with some careful work on the dyno I was able to make some very nice gains both in peak power as well as with the electronic throttle’s driveability and part throttle power.
