Matt is one of those guys that has a keen eye for what looks good on a car and who can follow through with a plan. His vehicles are always a joy to work on because he brings a solid platform to the table. With the installation of his S-trim kit and stock pulley etc, he was rowing the gears to mid 12s. Once that got ho-hum he decided to up the ante and repulley the car.
We got some great numbers from it with a change of some plugs (had spark blowout around 7psi) and a smaller pulley. Tuning was halted on the extremely safe side (notice our pulls stopped at 5400rpm!) to keep the stock block together and get some track time on it. We’ll revisit the tuning and also spray some meth injection on it in the future… stay tuned for MUCH more.
