I’m a sucker for a sleeper car. Rivers car has it big time. This car puts down some amazing horsepower, average torque is out the roof at 279ft/lb! We tuned the car on some old 93 octane and while I wasn’t able to get the spark advance into it that I wanted (about 3-4* less), look for us to add to the already impressive #s when I can turn the screws to it on some newer fuel. With the cold weather 9% was pulled from his actual numbers to get back to standard correction.

Another interesting thing to look at is the AFR on the dyno chart – see how it tapers upwards? He’s got a 110lph pump, running the numbers on the power he made, a 107.8lph is required for this combo with 0% safety margin. Accounting for line losses etc, he is out of pump. Look for a 255lph pump soon so we can spin it a bit higher.

Congrats to Rivers on a very well carried out build, this one was a joy to work with!
